Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
To sustain the quality of all academic processes and outcomes with continuous improvement, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is established at the college level to regularly monitor all academic operations as per the academic regulations and SOPs set for each process.
Towards realization of quality enhancement & sustenance, IQAC with external members nominated from universities of repute conducts academic audit annually while internal academic audit is done every semester.
Dr. P N L Pavani, Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering, leads the IQAC as Head and drives quality initiatives across the campus with the support of the Internal Quality Assurance Committee.
Objectives
- To reach the institute vision through collective efforts in all possible dimensions to create benchmark standards.
- To develop a system for conscious, consistent & catalytic improvement in overall institutional performance.
- To ensure accomplishment of accreditations & rankings at National and International levels creating academic/research benchmarks.
Functions
- Development and application of quality benchmarks for academic and administrative activities.
- Facilitating a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty development.
- Arrangement for feedback response from students, parents and stakeholders.
- Dissemination of information on quality parameters of higher education.
- Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops and seminars.
- Documentation of programs/activities leading to quality improvement.
- Acting as a nodal agency for coordinating quality-related activities and best practices.
- Development and maintenance of institutional database through MIS.
- Development of Quality Culture and participation in ranking competitions.
- Preparation of AQAR as per NAAC guidelines.
- Preparation and submission of Self Study Report for NAAC renewal.
- Preparation and submission of Self-Assessment Report for NBA renewal.
